JJ Abrams to direct Star Wars Episode VII!!

It's official JJ Is to direct the new Star Wars movie. This is the right choice as he is a very talented director and did a superb job with Star Trek.

Ice Age 4

I love these movies but was worried that a fourth instalment may be too much. I was wrong though this movie is fantastic, funny and entertaining. A total blast, roll on ice Age 5!!!!

Total Recall

I watched the new Total Recall last night. Great effects an a great movie but the villain just didn't seem bad enough! Oh well good fun though!

I was playing more on Mass Effect 3 last night. This really is like being in a movie, totally breath taking visuals and a great story line.

Skyfall

So what did you think of Skyfall.  Bond is certainly back but this is no ordinary bond movie.  This film not only has all the elements of a great bond movie but it could well stand alone by itself as a thriller.  Great movie!!!

The Hobbit

I watched the Hobbit yesterday and I absolutely loved it.  This film is a far more light hearted humerous adventure than the Lord of the Rings trilogy.  I cant wait to see the next installment.

Star Wars Episode VII - Star Wars will be back!!!

Star Wars Episode VII will arrive in 2015. I am so excited to report that Disney have purchased Lucasfilm and will be making Episode VI!!!  Thank you world!!!!

So this is good news right?  I have to admit I was not a great fan of the latest prequels as to me they lacked the character, humour and all out excitement of the original awesome trilogy, so this is a new start perhaps. To me this is great news!!! Disney make great films, visual stunners and yes they have lots of comedy,so this is a perfect match to me!!  I wish Disney well with their new Star Wars movie.

Even more exciting is the fact that the new movie out in 2015 will be set after Return of the Jedi.  I have read that it will be an original new story, I cant wait!!

So what do I want to see in this new Star Wars movie. Well I would love to see the original characters Han, Leia, Luke, R2 and C3PO back in action. I would love to see the return of the Millennium Falcon, but what I do crave is new blood, fresh characters and vehicles, adventure, fun, comical moments and amazing action.  Disney made Pirates so they can deliver a spectacle full of fun, fantastic sets and excellent memorable characters.  good luck Disney, may the force be with you on this one!!!!

If you have seen the new trailer for Skyfall you will be blown away. James Bond is back with a bang! Awesome stuff! About time too as Casino Royal re set the bar for James Bond and Daniel Craig made the role his own. A brutal, rugged and dangerous Bond. Can't wait to see Skyfall.

Prometheus DVD Out next week

The amazing Prometheus is finally out in DVD next week. So what is the alternative ending they keep talking about. The only thing about this movie that could have been much better was the ending in my opinion. An alternative ending may be much welcomed. Lets see.

So James Bond wow what a character. So what makes James Bond such a draw at the box office. Well he's a secret agent for a start which is a boyhood dream! Its a dangerous and exciting job that takes bond to exotic places where he meets beautiful ladies. He drives a fast car and has every gadget imaginable! The character himself is confident, dark and mysterious! This is why bond remains a top draw at the box office! Bring on Skyfall!!!!

Star Wars My thoughts on a brand new trilogy

Well as you can probably tell I love all things Star Wars, well all things Stat Wars that relate to the original trilogy that is. So I think it's time to share with you my thoughts on what could be done next. So yes I d believe a new trilogy could be made with the original power, fun and awesomeness of the original movies. The new trilogy doesn't need all the original characters but could incorporate some old favourites . We could for instance have Han Solo's son or daughter escaping a massive city in their fathers trust ship and my old favourite The Millenium Falcon! Being back the star destroyed but don't centre everything around Jedi knights as I think that spoilt the latest movies. The later movies were too focused on Jedi an their history. We need to get great funny characters ban into the Star Wars movies. R2 and 3PO are more than welcome to come back. Being back the storm troopers but five them a new bad ads leader who actually talks instead Maul who said virtually nothing! There is so much left and so much more that could be done with the star wars galaxy!! Being back the awesomeness an let's see a proper amazing Star Wars movie again!!!!

Dr Who, why??????

Ok I live sci fi movies and tv series. I love action and adventure movies. But I cannot for the life of me get into Dr Who!! It seems to be a mismatch of time travel, sci fi and then ventures into seriously weird territory. Sorry I just cannot get into Dr Who!!!
